意群

01 什么是意群？

是指一个句子按照意思和语法结构分为若干段，每一个段落就成为一个意群。它是在意思上相对完整，在语法上密切联系，不能再分的一个词组。

☆ 当一个英文句子很长，我们往往一口气说不下来，那么我们就可以在意群与意群之间做一个很短的停顿。（当然，同一个意群内则不需要停顿。）

02 意群举例

He said / that he would do better/ in his English study.

03 意群划分规则

001 冠词与名词划为一个意群，例如 : a book

002 形容词与名词划为一个意群，例如 : red pen

003 系动词与表语划为一个意群，例如 : is his sister

004 介词短语划为一个意群，例如 : in front of the door

04 课后练习

001 There are only two windows / in that room.

002 I will be glad / to meet you again.

003 The forest had been green / in the summer.

004 He can't come / because he is ill.

005 We worked / with the workers there / and learned a lot / from them.
