In Xiamen, Fujian Province, people often eat thin pancakes filled with dried seaweed, omelette, vegetables, and chili sauce, enhancing the flavors and symbolizing the abundance of the season. Additionally, Qingming guo, made with cudweed herb, is another aspect of Qingming cuisine worth exploring. The wild plant, which is in season around the Qingming Festival, is commonly added to wraps or dumplings. In southern China, it is also incorporate into steamed buns, contributing to the regional diversity of Qingming dishes.
