求高手英语简称解释

For teachers and learners of a foreign languages,

对于外语的教师和学习者来说

learning situations may be classified roughly into two distinct types:SL and FL.

学习外语的情况大体可分为SL和FL（第二语言和外国语，Second Language和Foreign Language）

SL refers to that of those abroad in which the language to be learned is the local native language,

SL代表在国外学习的一门语言，那个语言是所在国家的母语

for instance ,

比如

to learn English in Britain or America,

在英国或者美国学习英语

or, to learn Japanese in Japan.

或者，在日本学习日语

估计后面要说的就是FL是不在那个国家，学习那个国家的语言，比如在中国学习日语，在中国学习英语什么的！！

FL肯定不是First Language的..！跟上下文都不通顺```
