英语中at 和in的用法

英语中at和in的用法在时间表达上有明显的区分。

在时间的一点或时刻，at被广泛使用，例如：They come home at surprise（at noon, at midnight, at ten o'clock, at daybreak, at dawn）。这表明了具体的时间点。

at还可以用来表示较短的时间段，包括特定的节日或一年中的重要日子。例如：His grandfather died at seventy-two。（at New Year, at the spring Festival, at night, at midsummer）。

此外，at还用来表示位置，如：He was not at his office。（他不在办公室。）这表示他在办公室外。

另一方面，in则用于表示较长的时间段，如世纪、朝代、年、月、季节、上午、下午和晚上等。例如：He died in the holidays。（He was born in 1942）。

在一段时间之后，in同样被使用，如：He will come round in a day or two。（I will finish it in three hours）。

除了时间表达，at和in还可以用来表示位置，at用于位置的边缘或接近点，如：He was not at his office。（他不在办公室。）in则用于表示在某物内部或某个部位，如：I could feel the tension in the room。（我可以感觉到房间里的紧张气氛。）
