请问英语使用比较级,最高级时,如何区别什么形容词是前面加more,most还是后面加er

形容词和副词的比较级和最高级

1.单音节的形容词和副词在后面直接加-er,-est

例如：tall--taller--tallest, long--longer--longest

2.多音节的形容词和副词在其前面加more , most

例如：beautiful--more beautiful--the most beautiful

注意：最高级前面要加the

3.双音节的形容词和副词如果以 -ly -y -ow -ble 结尾的直接加-er -est

例如：able--abler--ablest

其他的加 more most

4.特例：good/well--better--best

bad/ill--worse--worst

many/much--more--most

far--farther--farthest用于可测出的距离意义上的远

far--further--furthest用于抽象的距离，例如：further study深造学习

old--older--oldest 用于普通含义

old--elder--eldest 用于有血缘关系的大小比较
