no longer与not… any longer有什么区别

区别：

no longer 和 not …any longer意为“不再”之意。

1）当修饰动词时，nolonger通常置于be或行为动词前；

例句：

My daughter can finish the work by herself , because she is no longer a child.

我女儿能独自完成这项工作，因为她已不再是一个小孩子了。

She couldnolongerfind a way to get into the valley.

她再也找不到进山谷的路了。

2）not...any longer常置于句末。

例句：

He doesn’t live here any longer.

他不再住在这里。

She could not keep up with him any longer.

她不能再赶上他了。

notanylonger与notanymore有什么区别

1.not...any more表示次数不再继续；如：他哭了好几次，他不再哭了。He didn't cry any more.

而 not ...any longe表示时间不再继续。如：他等了很久，不能再等了。He couldn't wait any longer.

2.no longer=not any longer

no more=not any more

He no longer lives here. = He doesn't live here any longer.

他不在这儿居住了。(一个时间以前他住在这儿，过了这个时间，他就离开了。)

You can drink no more. = You can't drink any more.

你不能再喝了。(喝酒的量到了一定程度，不能再继续下去了。)
