hope,expect,look forward to的区别

从汉语意思来看，这三个是近义词语。但从英语用法上看它们就大不相同。
hope可以后面接宾语从句，例如：I hope this letter reaches you. 我希望你能收到这封信。
它还可以直接接动词不定式，例如：We hope to arrive around two. 我们希望能在两点钟左右到达。
但绝对不可以hope sb to do sth。
expect 一般不接宾语从句。但可以接to do。和hope相反，它可以expect sb to do sth. 例如：You expect me to believe that. 你期待我相信那件事。
look forward to 中的to是介词，后面通常接动名词或名词。例如：We look forward to seeing you on the Spring Festival. 我们期待着您在春节到来。
