现在没有不能超过半年的限制，枫叶卡5年内都有效，出入境时间没有限制，只不过下次申请枫叶卡更新的时候要查你申请更新之日起，倒推5年内是否在加拿大境内住满2年，如果不满2年，枫叶卡不能更新。
同样道理，申请入籍之日起，倒推回去4年看又没有住够3年，你连续住3年当然满足要求了。又因为规定你必须是永久居民（拥有枫叶卡）最少2年后才能申请成为公民，所以你申请之日如果正好是拥有枫叶卡2年（而且这两年里你一直住在加拿大）之后，那么倒推回去4年，你只要在拥有枫叶卡之前两年里面住在加拿大1年就可以满足要求，（相当于你说的成为永久居民前6年给你算1年移民监）
如果你拥有枫叶卡之后两年内你只住了一年，倒推回去你还是可以满足4年住满3年的条件，可以申请入籍。

This application is for permanent residents 18 years of age or older who wish to apply for Canadian citizenship. They must have lived in Canada for at least three of the four years preceding the application, be able to communicate in English and/or French, and demonstrate some knowledge of Canada and the rights and responsibilities of citizenship. Persons with a criminal record, facing criminal charges or subject to immigration enforcement action may be ineligible for citizenship.
Note: You cannot meet the residence requirements for citizenship without a minimum of 2 years as a permanent resident.
